Information to assist community college faculty and staff in their various endeavors is now available online, thanks to the many professional organizations that foster the development of members of the academic community. Other online resources for educators are provided by agencies other than professional organizations. The Discovery Channel’s Kathy Schrock has a website full of resources for teachers. Martindale’s Reference is a treasure trove of reference information on a wide range of subjects. Two websites you can share with your students are Chemetka Community College’s study skills site and a website with an on-line learning styles test and appropriate study skills inventory.
